Hangry Joe's Hot Chicken

If you love Really spicy food, this is the place to come to.

They need either a warning on their menu that there is no non-spicy option or they need to make their mild selection actually mild.

Being from Indian descent myself, I thought I could handle medium spice. We got one dish which was mild and the other one that was medium.
Mild spice turned out to be medium and the medium spice level turned out to be pretty spicy actually.

My recommendation here would be:
Loaded fries

There is no real mild option here.
That is my only complaint.

Otherwise, the folks who run this restaurant seem like pretty good people. Service is good and food quality is good.
Side note: In my opinion, they could use some more liveliness in the place. I felt like I was sitting in the library when I was there.

Great variety of food and spices, if you love fried chicken this place is a must go. I would choose this place over Canes any day, the taste is so much better as well as the sauce. I recommend the loaded fries, they are a fantastic meal because they come with chicken on top of fries. If not, get the chicken sandwich. They had an average selection of fountain drinks, but they also sell different types of drinks like milk tea which add variety

The service was amazing. Food came out pretty fast, wasn't too busy, but it took about 10 minutes for 4 meals. The place was clean and the bathrooms were nice, the inside wasn't anything too special but it didn't look bad.

Overall I would recommend this to anyone, it is a must go for people that love fried chicken.

Purchased the combo 1 sandwich medium spice. Loved the portion size of the piece of chicken. It had a great flavor and crispness to it. Had a generous portion of waffle fries. The chicken for me was a little dry and chewy. I will try again hopefully the chicken will not be so dry. I would recommend this place.

Hangry Joe's Chicken in Naperville is a decent spot for a casual meal. The restaurant has a laid-back atmosphere, which makes it suitable for a quick bite with friends or family.

The chicken dishes are satisfactory, though not exceptional. While some pieces were juicy and flavorful, others seemed a bit dry. The variety of sauces offered a nice touch, but some of them lacked the boldness I was hoping for.

The side dishes were standard fare - nothing extraordinary but still enjoyable. The fries were crispy, and the salads were fresh, serving as a decent complement to the main dishes.
