Wendy is so wonderful & the food tastes even better since she’s been there. Great atmosphere. Clean & fresh. If you have not been here you need to come NOW!!! The review is asking me to rate if I have been there for breakfast lunch or dinner, if I have dine in or had takeout, if I ate this or that. I have tried to try almost everything on the menu and everything is so good all the time I’ve eaten here for breakfast lunch and dinner, dine in and take out. Even the leftovers taste so good for days after. It’s actually one of the only place is me and my family eat when we eat out because it’s like real fresh food. I wouldn’t say authentic Mexican but it is definitely better than chipotle. And if you know what authentic Mexican is then they have the ingredients to make it authentic because I always do. If you love chipotle you’ll love this place.
Edit: This continues to be the best fast food place around - members of staff remember me and keep it real. Will have my business as long as it's open!
Got the General Tso tacos and was blown away by the flavor. Was presented well and ingredient portions were solid for the price.
Was greeted by every worker with a smile as well. Will be back to try every signature creation soon!
Sal was very friendly and helpful. Last week was my first time trying them out. I found them through UberEats. I had the ground beef Chiwawa and the pulled chicken Quesadilla. My Chiwawa was delicious and huge! I didn't like the lettuce, tho. The Quesadila was ok, but I prefer white chicken meat. I'm headed Back there today to try out their guacamole.
A Bubbakoo’s recently opened close to my home, but I haven’t tried it yet. So when the opportunity came to try this one for an event, I was stoked.
*Overall Food: 5/5
I wanted to order a Chiwawa (bowl made of huge fried rice ball) but they ran out a few people ahead of me in line.
I instead ordered:
*****Taco Salad bowl +
lettuce
rice (they have white or brown)
white queso
hibachi steak cooked as rare as possible
Pico de gallo
corn
cilantro
sour cream
guacamole
cheese
I asked Aya (the woman making my food) for mild salsa on the side and if I could taste the Korean bbq. They didn’t have the Korean bbq, so I asked for any other sauces she recommended. She asked if I liked spicy- I said yes, so she gave me sides of the mango habañero and the Nashville hot.
The taco shell is so light, it breaks away like phyllo dough and it tastes buttery. It’s really good.
The lettuce was fresh, no brown edges like you might see at other places.
They were almost out of white rice so I had her mix white and brown.
The queso was delicious. It tastes like genuine queso. I had asked her which she liked better (between the yellow nacho cheese or the white queso) and she said she prefers the queso because it’s less salty, has some spice, and tastes like what you’d expect from queso. She was spot on. This was delicious. I would come back just for the queso if I didn’t like anything else.
The hibachi steak must have been marinated because it had a ton of flavor and it was super tender. She cooked it perfectly.
The corn was great.
The cilantro was fresh and bright green.
The cheese was great.
The guac was a bit salty, but I asked for only a little bit so it may not be representative of the whole batch.
*****Fried Oreos
These come with 2 and you choose either caramel or raspberry sauce to go on top. I got one of each.
I think these were wrapped in phyllo dough, rather than battered, but I can’t be sure. Either way they were yummy. They weren’t too sweet and two is the perfect amount.
*The staff: 5/5
There were only two people working, a woman named Aya and a man, who’s name I didn’t catch.
There was a line when I got there and considering that there were only two people, and by that I mean, they literally cook your meat on the hibachi, I think they did a great job. I’ve never seen a place function with such few staff, so kudos to them, they rock.
And a special thank you to Aya for the great recommendations.
*The location:
This place is at the end of a strip mall. There is a has good size parking lot, just know that the lanes are one way- so follow the arrows on the ground.
Inside were some booths and some tables so you can dine in- which is what I did.
I had a great meal and I’m stoked I got to try this place! I will be back for more food. Noms!
