Best steak we've had in a long time. In fact first steak I have not had to cut fat or gristle off in an age. Service great. Wine choice pretty good. My family loved the desserts.
This restaurant is out of the way and hard to find, but once you find it you'll be glad you did. I found it by accident many years ago and the one thing that keeps me coming back is consistency. This place is always busy even on cold snowy days. Their steaks, ribs, prime rib, burgers, calamari and service are always very good. It's also great to just go there and seat at the bar for a cocktail or two and whatch sports, after a long day at work. While is not cheap, it's also not the most expensive restaurant in the area.
Delicious food and drink. I've been here many times and always get something different. Best crab cakes I've ever had. Never had a veggie burger before till I came here. Was amazing. Spaghetti squash was delicious. No matter how busy service was always prompt. Food is served incredibly hot right out of the kitchen. Will return when I'm in the area.
Been coming here since I was a kid (15+ years). What I get has pretty much stayed the same as well. The Chicken fingers and fries here are delicious. They have great salads and decent steak also. I do not remember having a bad experience here. Highly recommended as a place to get an upscale meal.
I have to admit I was a little apprehensive about this place. It's really out of the way; near Oak Brook mall, but not in it. Why would anyone go here? Well, let me tell you why I'll go back! The ambiance was very pleasant, a lot of wood, pleasantly subdued lighting, open kitchen, well spaced tables (all of the wood made it a little loud, but not unbearable). Then, a decent selection of reasonably priced wines. Excellent chicken soup (maybe a tad hotter would have made it even better) with great flavor. My wife had the pork tenderloin with the "bang-bang" sauce, it was like butter with a little kick. I had rotisserie chicken that was crispy skinned and juicy. But the outstanding surprise of the evening was the pumpkin pie!! Wow, it was creamy, but not like a mouse; the crust was just thick enough to let you know it was there. We ate it all and it was good. I will be happy to go back to this out of the way restaurant and try some of their other offerings.
