Lucille Restaurant At Drury Lane

When it comes to brunch this place sets the bar really, really high. It’s  the granddaddy of the western suburb brunch. It simply doesn’t get any better than this one. I had never had a brunch like this before. For starters they constantly come around and fill your mimosa at the table during your entire meal. This alone is worth the price of admission! Have I mentioned more wine? I get hungry thinking about the food. There’s an entire ballroom full of it. Full of such a wide variety tasty deliciousness you’ll never get to try everything no matter how hungry you are. Yogurt station, omelette station, Bloody Mary bar, waffles, crepes, doughnuts, seafood, pot roast, and yes, dessert. Too many things for me to even list here. It’s expensive yes, but it can make special occasions feel that much more special. We may invent some to go back again soon. I love eating at this place.

Good champagne buffet for the price, bottomless champagne was good (you need to keep your server on the ball to keep it flowing, though!). Food selection covered all the expected bases. Adult desserts didn't really hit the mark, but I'm more of a savoury guy anyway. Kids dessert (DIY donuts, icecream station) were on point though.
