Amazing

I hadn't been there for at least 40 years.
Exceptional wait staff.
Very clean and casual bar food.

No rushing to get out of there. We visited for quite awhile.
Nice outdoor seating too.

What a cozy little place to have a very comfortable dinner. The service was excellent and the food was great. People were enjoying themselves all around us.

Have gone to York Tavern for years when you could get half a sandwich. The staff has always been very good and pleasant. Over the years the original historic tavern has expanded and offers the inside and added outdoor and a large heated tent!

We were introduced to York Tavern a couple months back and promised ourselves that we would try to get back. The Tavern Style Pizza was fantastic and the drinks including the lemon gumdrop martini were sublime (excuse the pun).

This time, we tried their Pan Pizza. It was just as good as their thin crust. Now we have a quandary as to which one to have next time. They're both delicious, and we can only get one per trip from Indiana. I wonder if they could make it half thin and half pan?

It was the lively, upbeat atmosphere that kept us from remembering to take pictures both times we came. Please forgive me for only taking one on each occasion, and both were taken halfway through the meal. But the wonderful food and cheerful staff that responded to our every need, will keep us coming back. Thank you for everything York Tavern!!!

Very cozy small tavern with pick up options and a larger tent/patio. The quality of the ingredients was fantastic and everything seemed very fresh. Even the fried items tasted like they came out of clean oil. Small menu with items done right.
