“This is such a charming little bar. I was visiting a friend from out of town when I discovered this gem. It is small and cozy while being big enough for multiple large groups. There is the immediate bar area, a back room, and the gaming room. Because its smaller it doesn't get deafening loud. Wooden shoes and reclaimed wood are visible throughout, in a true nod to the German heritage of the town. Definitely would recommend!”

I’m very glad she chose to open her own shop. I highly recommend scones also. Folks, a very common problem with scones is they dry out fast. These ones stay perfect. “Amazing food! We've had the single and double burgers, chili dog and onion rings. All of it was great! The doubles are so big you can take a bite into all of it! Fresh meat and decent size patties. The chili dog was grilled and the chili was full of meat also. Go eat there so it will stay in Altamont!”

“I work in customer service, have for 10 years. I get it. Believe me that I get it. I normally don't do this but after today... Today was the second day in a row that I went through the drive-thru. Today was also the second day that the same girl waited on me. Both days I had to read my order back to her after she read it back to me because she had it wrong both days and both days she didn't say a word to me. Took my card, handed it back, and nothing. Today I said thank you and she shut the window and walked away. One day is one thing, but two days in a row... Also, the drink machine at the second window could use a good scrubbing where it sits next to the window. It's kinda gross”

“Great place to eat with quality homemade food that tastes real in a cool environment. I had the cheeseburger with ghost pepper cheese and fries. The patty was a really good size and the ghost pepper cheese wasn’t too spicy. The fries are in a wedge style and they tasted fresh with a little crunch. We’ll definitely be coming back next time we’re in town.”
