“THIS is what a real truck stop should be like! Lots of parking, clean inside, friendly service, delicious REAL food. So sad that too many of the old-school family-owned truck stops and restaurants are being taken over by the cookie cutter you're just a number corporate places that forget truck drivers are the reason they exist in the first place. There were 3 of sitting down to eat and the waitress was friendly, helpful, and provided overall superb customer service. Their Creamed Chicken over Biscuits was something I've never tried before, but I can promise I will definitely have again! My husband said their pork tenderloin was quite good, and so was their coleslaw... And he's quite picky about his coleslaw. They also sell a variety of baked goods, including full loaves of their homemade milk and honey bread cut thick like Texas toast. We got a loaf to take on the truck with us and quickly realized we should have gotten 2 or 3 (we have a fridge/freezer in out truck so room to store extra). There is a pilot (I think, or maybe it was a flying j) across the street. BUT, if you are in the area stop here at K&H. I promise you won't be disappointed. We need to support the privately owned truck stops. These are the places that typically treat truckers better and have better quality eating options.”
