Meat & Potato Eatery-Carpentersville

I've been meaning to check this place out since it opened, but my work schedule made it difficult. Now I wish I would've gone earlier. The food was pretty delicious, and I really like getting that sit-down feel without the long waits for food. They give you a lot of food for what you pay, and all 3 of us were very happy with what we ordered. The gyros were super tender and juicy, the loaded potato basket was awesome and had tons of cheese, and the Buffalo chicken bowl was tasty too. Definitely will be back.

Edit 3/29: I tried the caprese salad with gyro meat and was not disappointed. It's fantastic! The mozz tastes fresh, the balsamic dressing is super tasty, and they added a TON of gyro meat.

This was our first visit here. I chose the italian beef sandwich and sweet potato fries, both were very generous portions. The fries were hot and crisp. Having the food delivered to your table is a nice touch. My husband had the pulled pork sandwich and traditional French fries. I liked the cleanliness of the restaurant and good quality napkins. I appreciated the self serve to go containers.

Neat and clean people are nice and helpful. The food was good and also a bit pricey but i think it was worth it. The inside is calm when i was there it has a nice relaxing feel to it there is a spot you can go and do video poker if your 21 and older.

This was our first visit and we really enjoyed it. Something for everyone. Food was GREAT! We will definitely go back. The desserts looked yummy too!

I've always had excellent food here. They've been open about a year and I've always had great service and excellent variety of food. I've had a fried shrimp dinner, the meatloaf dinner which is awesome, gyros, and an amazing Greek salad all here. I've had a chat a few times with the owner and they are all in to make everything right.
