Steaks were cooked perfectly, baked potato was not yesterdays potato reheated, it was excellent. The vegetables were steamed just the way I expected them to be. It was dim lit in there and hard for me to read my menu, I had to use my phone to give it a little more light to see. The service was very good, staff was friendly and polite I actually felt like they appreciated us coming in. I didnt let the lighting take away from this review since we went for the food and not how well lit the place was. All 3 of us had steaks and baked potato. Wife had lobster and rib eye, daughter had NY strip and I had the porterhouse we all were very happy with everything. Highly recommend this if you want a great steak
I was lucky enough to grow up eating Jimmy’s Charhouse! I no longer live in Illinois but I love to come back anytime I’m visiting! Amazing food!!! Incredibly flavorful and delicious!
I'm a steak and potatoes kind of gal and this steakhouse was perfect. Perfectly seasoned and perfectly cooked. Wasn't too loud either so it was a nice and quiet dinner.
Lucila was our server and she delivered the quickest, kindest, and most efficient service we've ever had. Super kind, funny and got everything to us very quickly. Highly recommend her!!!
This place is a very nice place in the Elgin area. I took a friend of mine out for a nice dinner on NYE, and we had a great time. Our server was very nice and friendly. The food was delicious. We ate in the main dining room and definitely enjoyed our meal and conversation.
Our only issue was that it was a little loud because it was NYE. They had a DJ/karaoke thing going on in the bar area, so that made it a little harder to talk.
