Elgin Public House

Love the all the craft brews and sitting at the bar for a hockey game. Bar tenders and wait staff are perfectly attentive and great for recommendations when you're overwhelmed by the brew menu. Sample a few things and order my favorite app; cheese burger slider trio and basket of fries. Haven't really ordered too much off the meal/sandwich menu but from the looks of it, it is not your typical bar fare.

We come here quite frequently as it has a wide variety of food in the menu. Our waiter/waitress is always nice and attentive, but not overbearing. The food is quite good and comes out fairly quickly. We almost always come here for dinner or a nightcap.

Best bar/restaurant in Elgin. The staff is super friendly. Lincoln is one of the best bartender we have ever had. Food is great and there's plenty of selection for drinks as well. Definitely a place to swing by when we're in town.

We had brunch with Santa and we were sitting right in front of him this place was amazing I took my grandchildren and actually all four of them ate which is very surprising because they are picky eaters but with such a Great Buffet everybody got their bellies full this is going to be our new tradition every year I am not going to wait two hours in line at a mall to see Santa when I can come over there and take my own pictures see you guys next December or who knows maybe sooner going to check out if you guys have a buffet other than the one for Christmas

This place screams character. The burgers are definitely the way to go. Good prices, music's not too loud, and it's a quaint place to eat. They have an impressive beer & wine selection too. I really enjoy going here on date night with the wife or to hang out with the guys.
