Friendly staff and great food prepared how you like it. I will be back!
Friendly staff, and food so good you might head back to the counter for another! Always round up at the register, it's going towards a good cause!
I was super excited that this place was opening so that I did not have to drive out to algonquin. Unfortunately my first visit was not a great one, the girl taking my order though she was very nice she also didn't listen very well. Toppings I wanted on my sandwich weren't there and the pickles I asked to be omitted were there and made my Philly sandwich taste like it had pickles on it. The green peppers though they were advertised as "sauteed" they were most basically raw and there was very large chunks of onion in random places throughout the sandwich same with the green peppers. I couldn't tell you about the mushrooms because they weren't on the sandwich like I had ordered and I really just felt like they slapped the sandwich together with really no regard for the finished product. The service was indeed quick though due in most part that the place was almost empty which is odd for it being dead in the middle of lunch on a weekday. This leads me to believe that mistakes are fairly common among the staff and they are not getting reported on google. I've seen several firehouse franchises come and go all over the northwest suburbs and have always been a fan, but this particular location is off to a bad start. I'm hoping to bring this 3 star rating up in the future because I will be going back.
Just 'OK' They had only been open for about a week but were totally lost, order took super long and priced against other sandwich shops within walking distance not really a good/better value. Potbelly/Panera are better for basically same money. Staff was nice enough and kept apologizing. Washroom was clean. Dining area is way too small, trying to eat along the counter aisle-wall was not fun. Folks coming in and standing right on top of us. In time I'm sure the service will get better when the crew gets dialed in. Probably wont go back though.
Sandwich looked and tasted great. Greeted at the door was at lunch time. Was busy and was in and out quickly.
