(May 31, 2024, 2:42 am)Had the pork schnitzel. Was excited to try this place since they moved from Elgin to South Elgin. The Dining room is beautiful. It's only been Day 8 of their new location and everyone has been asking for their chicken pot pie. Will be back to try more things on their menu.

(May 31, 2024, 2:18 am)We have already eaten here twice and can't wait to go back for breakfast! The chicken sandwich was enough for 4 people to eat!!! The fries are amazing! Do not miss the sweet beets, delicious!

I ordered the pierogi plate with German potato salad & sweet beets, and was transported to another time with one bite. This is the ultimate comfort food to me. The space is beautiful, open and airy, but it still retains all of the character I loved seeing when visiting Rogue's Corner. Service was amazing, as always. Highly recommend Red Poppy, you will leave happy & full (with left overs)!
