(January 30, 2019, 11:27 am)We LOVE Chinese and have searched extensively for a good Chinese place in the area. Coming from Chicago and having had dined in Chinatown frequently makes you real picky. Tried every one in the area and all are disappointing. This one was a surprise. The location in St Charles is far better than the one in South Elgin. Its smaller but has a cozy feel. Great house fried rice, egg foo young, Mongolian beef. And cheap! We can often dine for under 20 bucks. But make sure you dine at the St Charles location.

(April 26, 2018, 12:51 am)All Silver Lakes Restaurants are not the same! They're all OK, but the St Charles location is the best! The food stands out as the best outside of Chinatown and even better than some of the places in Chinatown. The staff is great from phone-order to delivery to carryout and even in-store dining. They're closed now on Mondays, but they deserve a day off!
