I was all excited when I heard we were finally getting a Raising Cane's near us, having heard glowing reviews from friends. I would have to say I was not impressed. The chicken was ok, nothing special, and there weren't many choices of dipping sauces. The sweet tea and garlic bread side were the best part as far as I'm concerned.
I just tried the Raising Cane's chicken fingers for the first time. I got the three finger combo. The line was long but it went fast. The food was hot, but the fries had no salt and they get cold fast. The chicken was hot and crispy, but not a lot of flavor. Not a fan of the Cane sauce. I hope they offer other kinds of sauce. The garlic bread was only toasted on one side and was soft. I only ate the toasted side. It is a good deal for $7.00.
The chicken tenders was good but no options on sauce the sauce was good but I prefer ranch. They offer no sides other than crinkle fries which were soggy warm coleslaw and the worst Texas toast I ever had. I wish they offered sides like salad ot mashed potatoes etc. the chicken like I said was good but because of their lack of menus it is not worth my going out of my way for
First time. Menu is limited but everything I had was very tasty - chicken fingers, coleslaw, crinkle fries, unsweetened tea. I tried the Canes sauce and the honey mustard. Both were good, but I liked the Canes sauce best. Would definitely go back. Several of the Chicken fingers were quite large.
