“I went there to pickup a whopper for my father-in-law and myself. The service at the drive up window was fast. The server was kind and professional. The whopper hamburgers were still warm five minutes after being served and tasted very good. Of course we both were very hungry. The parking lot was clean and well lite. The signs were maintained and easy to read.”

“To start personally I prefer the Sammie's in Lake Villa. However, this Sammie's is pretty I haven't been to this one in a while, and I feel like it was way better than the first time I had it. The fries were nice and crispy and the nothing was wrong with the hot dog. It's a little expensive for fast food, but the food is solid and I would definitely recommend the food here. Also the fountain Powerade they have here is really good no other place I go to has Powerade that good.”

“I have received better customer service at other locations. This location does not have kiosks. There was no thank you from the cashier, no eye contact, not even a "Have a nice night." He did not ask for my rewards number, I had to remind him to put it in. The tables were dirty and there was no one attending to the dining room. My sandwich was thrown together sloppily-- the french onion soup was at least the same quality, and thank goodness my visit ended on a good note-- my almond raspberry thumbprint cookie was delicious.”

“This location was difficult to get into with a wheelchair. The food ordered was prepared when ordered. The food came out at proper temperature. The cashier was very friendly, and knowledgeable about the product. The dining room had a few tables that were dirty during our visit, and were not cleaned while we were there. “I went to this McDonald’s about a year ago and they messed everything up. I wasn’t even sure I got the meal that I ordered or maybe someone else’s it was THAT BAD.. I went there today to give it another shot and wow! The line moved so quickly and efficiently and my food was ready to go in no time and WOTHOUT ONION like I ordered this time! I do have an allergy to onion so this is slightly more important to me than others. The food tasted great too! I’m not sure who to thank but all of the staff working on Feb 19/2019 at 1:30pm. “My first time going to crab grab was alright the crab that is served is honestly very good with a customable use of a few spices and sauces (the crab is cooked in the the sauces), their corn is another well made side fresh and amazing taste, the service is also very nice. When it comes to the menu theirs fried fish and other fried foods mainly see food and rice, theirs a few different type of crabs, shrimp and clam, they also serve soup and sushi, service is very good the servers come often to ask if you need anything else or if everything good and if you want or if something isn't to your liking they will help to improve your experience.”

“Our family went and we got a little bit of everything to try and all of it was fabulous. Loved the pupusas. The tamales were amazing - it was like they milled that corn 3 or 4 times over; it was angel soft. My 8 year old was less adventurous, but he did get three types of tacos, which he ate. I tried the banana smoothie, which was like pure banana and light ice and actually tasted out if this world (surprised me). My son tried it and I lost my drink to him. My mother also came and she cannot handle even mildly spicy food, but they had plenty of non-spicy options on the menu and she was thrilled with her meal. The other thing that was unique was the Salvadoran slaw (beautiful jars of it stand on the ready in a glass doored fridge across from the cash register). My husband and I tried it with some tortilla chips and we're hooked. We bought a whole jar to take home even. Now, while the food was tremendous and the people working there were very nice, service was a bit uneven, but I will cut them some slack since they are set up to be mostly a carry-out. So, if you come, be patient, because the food is completely worth it, the prices are great, and wow...that spicy slaw...it is so good.”

“Ordered a hot dog and fries here. Hot dog was a solid 4. The fries although fresh cut were very plain and lacked a saltiness to them probably scoring a little above a 2. I don't recall seeing any indoor seating and Scotties is cash only. Just an average hot dog joint in my eyes.”
