Meat and Potato Eatery

Went here with my husband thought we'd try it out. We tried the Italian beef sausage combo. It was good. They give you decent portions. And the price wasnt bad either. And with so much more on there menu I know we will be back . Worth checking out of you haven't yet.

Good average lunch place. I had a Gyro lunch special and it was good. I would recommend this as a place to go for a casual lunch with good food. Very nice and helpful staff. Thumbs up for this new eatery in Lake Zurich.

My wife and I visited for the first time a few nights ago. All I can say is 'we will definitely be back'. Staff was fantastic and attentive, the food was outstanding. My wife had the pot roast dinner and I had the meatloaf dinner. Can't say enough about how fresh and delicious everything tasted. The gravy was out of this world!

Their menu is chock-full of items that I would love to try. Can't wait to go back!!

1/30/2019 Had to make a quick update after having tried the ribs. All I can say is that I have been back 4 times since having the ribs and I've had the ribs every single time. Ordered delivery service last night during the Polar Vortex and got ribs. I love ribs and have tried them everywhere I go. These are among my favorite of any I've ever had! Super tender and meaty. Truly delicious. I just have to convince myself to not order them sometime so I can keep trying other menu items!!!

So I just had lunch there with my daughter, and I've got to say, the food and service was outstanding! And I mean OUTSTANDING! This newly opened gem is located right by the Lake Zurich DMV. There's ample parking all around. The restaurant itself is spacious and the overall atmosphere is both comfortable and very welcoming. The prices are reasonable and the servings are quite generous. Also worth noting is that both the dining area and restroom were extremely clean and well-maintained. All in all this was a very positive experience and I'm going to highly recommend M & P.

Great food. Our family lives in McHenry so we have gone to that location a few times and were so happy to see one open up close to home. Great food, super nice staff, and reasonable pricing!
