Portillo's Hot Dogs

Portillo's has been a favorite of mine since I was a teenager ... when you are from the Chicago area if you think of beef sandwiches you think Portillo's! I now live in Wisconsin and I drive about 30 miles just to get a Beef or a true Chicago style hotdogs! I have used their catering service and have even had food delivered to my daughters in Tennessee ... they never disappoint. The quality and excellence I've come to expect is the same no matter which Portillo's I'm visiting.

This Portillo’s is always packed and with good reason. They have the best burgers and hot dogs, and the chocolate cake shake is totally worth the calories!

Do yourself a favor and add the cheese with your fries. You will thank me later!

Good location. The restaurant was not busy but the drive through was a long line so it took longer than usual to get the food. The meat quality is excellent on the burgers. The fries however were slightly under fried and a bit mushy but still tasted good. The staff were professional but not very friendly which is fine. They seem to always keep the Restaurant clean no matter how busy they get which is a big plus.

Great family place. Food is really good. Chocolate cake is to die for. Drive through is the best. Depending on the time of day inside can get crazy. Over all it's a clean place and has friendly staff.

This is one of the most ubiquitous restaurants in the Chicagoland area. They have the best Italian beef sandwich I have ever had. Their salads are surprisingly good for a fast-food type establishment. Everyone raves over the chocolate cake but they also offer beer. The Lions can get very long during lunch and dinner.
