“My husband and I came here for our anniversary, and I am so glad we did. The service was amazing, Alexis was incredible and very sweet! Along with the other staff. The food was scrumptious. The margarita menu is nothing like I’ve ever seen, and they make great margaritas!! The owner, Chris came out and talked to us several times and made sure if we needed anything. He surprised us with an anniversary desert with a sparkler. So cute. He also came out with complimentary shots for us to toast too for our special day. I could not of been more pleased. The atmosphere is awesome and the outside sitting area is quiet and it feel private from the surroundings. Definitely will be making our way back here! Highly recommend! The main part which you would enjoy is the salsa they are providing that is red and green as I like to have spice food i liked the green salsa one which is really so good! If your a spicy lover and want to experience Mexican cuisine then you need to definitely check out this place! The people at the counter was so friendly and explained everything with neat and clean! Helped me to choose the right food! We also had their new signature drink the Mango fresco’s which is so good! Overall Experience is so good mainly the hospitality was great! “I have had the nachos and cheese curds so far. I couldn't believe how big the nachos were! The cheese curds were lightly battered and fried to perfection! The portions are huge. The prices are better than the competitors. Not to mention, they are open later than most restaurants in the area which is a huge plus. I am so pleased with my experience I plan on coming back to try the rest of the menu and for future catering orders because they offer catering too! “Our family of 4 ate dinner here last and we will definitely be going back. The inside of the restaurant has a cute vibe. The service is great; everyone is so friendly and helpful with the menu. We ordered a couple appetizers and 3 entrees to share. We enjoyed everything but the ribs were AMAZING!!!! Definitely go with the garlic fried rice. The salad went well with all the dishes. I liked that they used real plates, glasses, and utensils. The carry out containers are compostable which we like as well. They have gender neutral bathrooms which is always a plus. Highly recommend.”

“Always knew about the location on the south end of the mall but not sure when this location opened and when The Great Steak & Potato Co. folded but Charley's delivers a decent tasting cheesesteak. My father who was born & raised in Eastern PA from time to time will stop in at Charley's for a cheesesteak when going for his daily walk in the mall. He's very picky about his cheesesteaks but claims this place has a decent taste if not a bit pricy. I appreciate a cheesesteak here from time to time especially The Old School cheesesteak w/ Old School Philly fries, MMMM!! Since it is a chain, you'll commonly hear/read that they're not authentic or the meat's bland compared to a real Philly cheesesteak. It really is "you like what you like" and if the customer service is consistently good like any other location I've been to then it's a go-to spot.”

“I want to preface this by saying that I think this new location is still getting their feet under them, so I will give them another chance at a later date! I think there is a lot of potential here, and things were only not perfect because they are not used to the volume of orders they're getting here in Grayslake. I think when they get the system down, now that they're trying to be a take-out place, they'll be very good. I honestly felt bad when I went in to order, the workers were obviously harried. They said they were not answering the phone anymore because they were so behind. It was ringing off the hook. They obviously wanted to be doing a good job and were just overwhelmed, so I feel for them. They were still really nice to me even though things were crazy. Had the Fig and Prosciutto sandwich -- there was an enormous amount of fig, but only a little bit of prosciutto and goat cheese. I had to scrape most of the fig off, there was a LOT of it. But the order was correct, and the idea was sound, so I give them credit for that. The bagel chips and dip were fine. I had the tiramisu as well and it was very good! I hope they figure out a system for being a take out place, and maybe hire some more kitchen staff. They are getting enough business here for it to be worth it!”

“Their chicken is pretty solid. Very satisfying and crunchy. The sides come in ample amounts too, and the sauce is really really good. When I ordered I ordered a box combo for here and one to go, they forgot to give me one to go but when I asked about it they began making it immediately and gave me a coupon. Very kind service, and they kept the restaurant very very clean (tables around us got cleaned twice during our 25 minute dinner). There was a super long line and about a 25-30 minute wait, but that was probably since today was the first day. Will come back!”
