Love the scenery! decorated real nice with the jungle theme. Kids menu has a scavenger hunt on it so the kids can be active while waiting for their food. Prices are $$ . food is OK to me
I feel like you mostly come here with kids and it's mostly for the atmosphere. You feel like you're in an actual rainforest with roaring lions, intermittent thunderstorms (flashing lights and sounds), and surrounding trees and vines. The food is good, just super pricey. Food and service is good and the atmosphere is great. I just wish it weren't so pricey.
We went there as part of our celebration of my son graduating from boot camp. The hostess acted confused when we asked about a reservation. She looked confused again when we arrived for our reservation (she seemed to be struggling with reservations ahead of us, too). Our waitress was pleasant but the service was quite slow. Two of us ordered two different drinks (four total) that were advertised as being served in a souvenir glass. None of the drinks were served in said glass. When we asked the waitress, she said she just assumed that we didn't want the souvenir glass. She did reduce the charge of the drinks but we ordered those drinks to get the glasses. The food was okay but honestly someplace like Applebee's or Ruby Tuesday has better food. I know you're paying for the experience, but it still seems like for the high cost the food would be of higher quality and taste better. This was a one and done visit for us. We won't be back.
