“Coffee is exceptional for a local family Greek style restaurant. Ambiance is okay but Rotary seems t like the very friendly staff and fresh tasting food. The value is the same compared to the Island Lk. Our family chose this restaurant tonight because breakfast is always a winner. The dinner size portion were large enough we end up taking it to go for lunch the next day. Get pass the decor and you'll be wonderfully surprised. I liked the desserts were not pushed since the kids didn't need that right before bedtime. Overall, we will be going back in a heartbeat without any reservations. We gotta try the fish fry...that will let us know how often we visit. 9 stars out of 10 based on over 6 visits! A gem in Wauconda.”

Easy to get from highway 12 and 176. Large dine in area. And the saving grace to mankind and late night eaters as the drive through is open 24 hours !!! “Fabulous casual family dining. The food is great. They have a large, varied menu. Breakfast is wonderful. Their unique Cinnamon Swirl French Toast is to-die-for! This restaurant goes beyond the average with extra little touches like serving fresh fruit preserves instead of those stupid little plastic jelly packets, and serving Hawaiian coffee - delicious! They also offer grits as an option, which are hard to find up here! They serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The service is responsive and the owners are attentive. They are always on the lookout, and care about offering good service.”

Right now the business is new so the sign is not as big and it is little difficult to find the first time (right across from the church of the transfiguration). We have been there twice had different food and the quality was the same. We are going back as much as we can.”
