Portillo's Hot Dogs

Nostalgic and lively. Almost always busy buy wait times are very rarely "too long" avoid the drive-thru at peak business hours and maybe indulge in a chocolate cake shake (so good) never really had any of their salads or anything but i've been told they're pretty good.

Very loud inside and it makes me kind of anxious. If you ever find yourself getting a little nervous the bathrooms are typically a lot quite and also very clean making them a good place to cool off for a second.

The experience was really exceptional and we would say the food was made of high quality ingredients! Thank you guys for the wonderful service. We'll definitely be back!

You can never go wrong with Portillos. Given that this is an Illinois franchise, you can get this food anywhere. Amazing food, and the run like a Swiss watch. Quality is key, and they get food out quickly. Combo sandwich, or a burger with cheese fries is my go to here. I've tried it all, and em never disappointed. Plan accordingly, because the lunch rush comes quick. That says a lot about a place if you ask me. Definitely a stop to make if you are in the Chicago Land area

Been twice. Got the combo dog, phenomenal! Also got the chocolate cake shake. Too much for me to handle, but I couldn't stop. It was so good! Chicago staple.

Excellent beef, salads, burgers and hot dog. Service can be slow when busy. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Point to note any char dog requires 10 minutes or so to prepare.
