Santino steak and pasta

A group of 18 of us from Arcola went there last night and the food and service were spot on great!! The pasta dishes were very authentic and several of us had steaks. The meat was top grade and they all were cooked exactly to order. The server (owners daughter) was always there.we never waited for nothing even though we had a large group. Thanks for the great meal. We will be back.

My husband & I ate dinner here for the first time tonight. On arrival we were told there was a 25 to 30 minute wait. This is to be expected since they are new and everyone wants to try it. I can tell you firsthand that it is well worth the wait. I had the lasagna and my hubby had steak. We also shared the lasagna fritta appetizer. All of it was absolutely delicious! Large portions and very reasonably priced. We both took half our food home and we were stuffed. We will definitely be back! Glad to have another great dining option in our area.

The appetizer platter was very good, waitress and other servers very attentive. Forgot to bring us our soup and salad before meal and forgot my side of pasta. When we mentioned it, they resolved and offered free dessert proactively even though we didn't complain. I thought that was a nice touch. The dessert was the best part of the meal.

I think we will go back and give them another shot.

This was our first visit to this new restaurant. I can tell they are trying to get into a routine and make this as successful as their other establishment. The food was decent but not warm when we finally received it. We will go back and hopefully they'll have a few more kinks worked out. The owner was very kind and tried to visit every table. I thought the interior looked nice.
