Don Tigre Mexican Owings Mills

I love this place. It’s festive and fun and both the food and the drinks are plentiful, flavorful, served quickly and on point. Quality portions for Happy Hour!

I wanted to like this place but I was disappointed. First off, I came in for Taco Tuesday which I assumed had some kinda special. I saw special cards on the other tables but mine didn't have one so I didn't contest it. I only received the regular menu with full prices. The server was to the point, not warm or friendly. We ordered 2 drinks, wings, a burrito, and the 3 taco dinner. The wings were great. They came out hot and fresh. I got the Tandoori Taco, the steak and AL Pastor. The Tandoori was good but the other 2 were burnt. Not sure if I'll go back.

Huge shout-out to our server Courtney! She went above and beyond to make our experience wonderful. We informed her at the end of the dinner that it was my mom's birthday and she was so kind enough to bring out dessert for us to try! The Tres leches and Chocolate brownie desserts were amazing! The Chicken quesadillas , Chicken tandoori Burrito and Steak tacos were delicious! We will definitely be back!! Thank you again Courtney for making our night extra special.

The food tasted good but have you ever had a fajitas with no tortillas - I did.
I had to get Costco gas then called to see how close they were to Costco. There clearly is a language barrier with the host.
I called my order in. Picked it up, Drove home expecting to enjoy my meal. There were no tortillas with my food. Having to eat a fajita with no tortillas I could not take advantage of using my lettuce, salsa, and sour cream. I could mix it all in my mouth since I had no shells to build my meal. I called to let them know the tortillas were missing from my order. Because of the language barrier the host did not try to make things right with me. I expected something like, come in again and we will give you a drink with your next order; I got nothing.

I got the lunch special that came with your choice of soup or salad. I got the chicken soup...very tasty. There is lots of food with the lunch special. I would and have ordered it again.

I also ordered chili con caso it has a powdery after taste. Will not eat that.

Editing this post the day after the original post. While going into my bank account I found that host had charged me twice. I called to speak to the manager, I keep getting that host answering. He tells me he not in.

Addendum: Finally I spoke with the manager, because the host charged me twice the manager returned my funds.

I had a one time bad experience but the food has me coming back and passing the word on how good the food is to others.

This is a beautifully decorated spot with fresh food and great service. Me and my mom ate here for last weeks taco Tuesday. When we came in we were promptly greeted and seated. We got the fresh guacamole made at the table and it was amazing, our server explained the ingredients and gave us a chance to ask for something to be left out he did so no problem! my drink was strong and tasted great. It was an all around great experience got the recommendation from my brother and will be coming back! Had fish taco and two shrimp tacos (Went to the Fort ave location)
