    Alton Illinois. Mom and Pop operation in business for years in Alton you just don't go wrong with Woody's chicken it's way way way so good. And everything else on the menu is excellent also.

    This is the best fried chicken in the area. It has been around a long time and it is not like any of the big box fried chicken places. The prices are reasonable. They do charge more for drinks. They have more than just chicken, but the chicken is the best. I've gotten their fried mushrooms and their french fries which were to be expected and nothing special. There's only one stall in the bathroom , but it is just as I remember it from about 20 years ago.
