“Great place. The workers here are extremely nice, we always have a nice time here. Large menu with a lot of choices. Hamburgers and ribs are my favorite. Margaritas are wonderful. Wish they would actually have local craft bear, like their menu says. Lagunitas is not local... Plenty of local micro breweries around. Typically after a shopping in the near by stores we come here for our dinner since we don't have time to make our own at home after spending so much time shopping.”

I had called this location while waiting for the police to finish the report and Bobby I believe who is the manager helped me out on the call. Super friendly on the phone right away said don’t worry we will remake it for you once you arrive. Upon arrival he helped us out and was more concerned that we were ok than anything else. “This location is weird. One day their food is amazing. Next day it's the worst panda I've been to. I work close by and find myself craving panda Express every now n' then so I stop in and get some food. In one month I had 3 different experiences. One amazing. One meh and one leaving me not wanting to go back. I suspect different chefs would have different cooking styles. My recommendation would be to ensure everyone is cooking in the same quality fashion. And not developing any bad habits. As that seems to be true for this location their chefs have very different cooking styles.”

“The cauliflower crust pizza, as well as the regular crust, are great. My wife is a Celiac and the staff is very nice and receptive to our allergen concerns even on take out orders. Peanuts on the floor take a little while to get used to, but it's a fun place overall. It has the feel of a large Castle with the front doors, and it's not a super loud atmosphere which is nice if you're like me and want to speak with your party! Overall, this is the first restaurant in Crystal Lake that my family had tried since moving into the area, and I think we've already found a fan favorite.”

A friend of mine recommended New Peking. I do have to say that I was a bit skeptical because there were a mixed bag of reviews. However, I did notice that recently, the last 3 reviews were very positive. I am on weight watchers & opted for the steamed fish with ginger soy sauce...Very pleased!!! it was very good. I have had this same entree from the other Chinese restaurant & felt that New Peking's was tastier, far less salty & lighter in flavor! An added bonus was that their price was less expensive. I also like that they have several diet friendly options, where as the other restaurant had non listed on their menu...I will definitely be trying some of there other options...So far so good!”
