My company held a private event here and the general manager, events person, and staff took such great care of us! We booked at the last-minute and they were still so accommodating and friendly. Excellent communication - answered their phone, was easily transferred to events/management, prompt response times and so friendly and helpful. We had a blast, ate yummy food that was served to us buffet style -- they made sure to keep the food warm and have it ready for us upon arrival. They even saved parking spots for us. Everything went smooth - thank you Pheasant Lanes!
Pheasant Lanes is a good spot to go bowling. When we go, we typically have to make a reservation the day before because it can be really busy. The main negative is that the food is mediocre and overpriced. For example, the fries I once ordered were lukewarm. However, bowling here was fun. I was able to find the perfect weight of ball, and had the option to play with/without gutters, and to choose different game modes. As a side note, don't wear white or light-colored socks. One of my friends got a stain on their sock after wearing the rental bowling shoes.
My 4 year old son played in the arcade there. He was devastated he didn’t have enough tickets for the ball shooter he really wanted. The young woman working the counter used her own personal tickets to get him the shooter. It was the kindest gesture. He is in love with his new toy and she made his whole weekend.
I’m not sure if this was a recent change, or if staff was just uninformed of bowling options, but this bowling trip was very expensive for our group of 7. My family came to visit me and we were looking for something fun to do together. My dad asked how bowling is handled at this alley and we were told you pay by the hour. According to other reviews, this doesn’t seem to have always been the case. We proceeded to play for an hour and, with a group of seven, two being kids, it’s no surprise there was lots of downtime between bowlers and ultimately ate away at our hour of play. Giving 3 stars because the kids had lots of fun in the arcade!
