Staff was very friendly. Food was not so good.. and I went to the bakery after my meal took home a gooey butter cake for $9, just for it to be completely liquid in the middle.. will not be back. Save your $$$
Had dinner buffet - fried chicken, meat loaf, mashed potatoes, corn, green beans and baby carrots - that was it. Salad bar minimal / okay and desert was lacking. However, all of the food - except desert - was good. At $12.99 I would expect another entree or two - maybe a couple of soup selections (I like chili). The people / servers were very friendly.
Atmosphere is fantastic. Had a wonderful warm inviting fire going. Staff very friendly. Food was a bit slow to arrive. It was good but nothing exceptionally tasty. I will try again on the weekend. Maybe it was on off day being during the week.
I ate lunch here today. Got the club sandwich and sweet potato fries. I eat out a lot because of my job. Gotta say that this was one of the best lunches I've had in a while. The quality of the meat on the sandwich, the Texas toast, etc. --- it was perfect. I love sweet potato fries, but these were beyond what I expected. Best I've ever had. Bonus: Before the meal my waitress (who was very nice and on top of things) bought out a couple of rolls and two kinds of butter - honey and strawberry. I'd never had strawberry butter before. Oh my! Phenomenal!!! I walked in not knowing what to expect and I walked out thrilled knowing that I found a great new restaurant. I HIGHLY recommend it.
