Our family was in town for the PeoriaCon event and chose Rhythm Kitchen for our Friday evening meal. As musicians, we LOVED the vibe! The artwork, the music, well everything was just right for our mood. We (4 family members) shared the Brie with fruit appetizer. It was fabulous! Great variety of fruit, crackers and additional cheese. I had the salmon BLT, it was DELICIOUS! My friend had the blackened grouper as a sandwich. Any protein choice can come as a salad or sandwich. The blacked grouper was really good. I think next time I will get that as a salad. It's not often we find a place we want to go back to, but this is one of them!
The atmosphere of this restaurant was wonderful. We went to hear the band. But, discovered a great place to eat! The artwork and decor reminded me of New Orleans. I loved the menu; it was a nice blend of food selections. The on-line menu may be an outdated or an incomplete menu.
The Jerk Chicken was wonderful. I had Bread Pudding for dessert, because it is a favorite of mine. I was not disappointed. I will definitely order it again. When I go next time, I want to try the Gumbo YaYa.
It is so nice to go into an eating establishment that is family owned and definitely family oriented. There were several families there with smaller children and it seemed as though everyone was having a great time.
Found this place by accident while heading to an event at the Peoria Museum on the river. Great selection of beer really unique decor and a really interesting vibe. thought I was in the French Quarter of New Orleans or Wicker Park in Chicago never thought a place like this would be in Peoria ...sorry Peoria...my bad. couldn't say to have any food but the menu look fantastic will definitely try to stop back on my next trip through Peoria. One other note the owner was there working in the kitchen! Love restaurants like that where the owner rolls up her sleeves instead of these corporate entities in which there's a rotating
Service was quick and friendly. Menu was not of my tatse about the only thing I recognized on the menu was chips and salsa and I have a feeling that is not normal chips and salsa. Didn't eat just had a drink, which was rather pricey.
Excellent service. Food was well prepared and delicious. Ambience was spot on very well done. Some of the art may not be for children under 15. Nothing really bad but you should know. It is used to make the feel of New Orleans. I did not see all the art beware.
A great date place. Way to really enjoy life.
