“Pub has a bit of an identity crisis and lacks the services of a pub. Pubs generally serve alcohol and food. Also, most pubs have a dart board. The sports memorabilia is good, but the rustic walls create conflict against a granite bar counter. There are NO beers on tap, but we were able to get a frosted glass. Service was good. Oh, and they have plugs to recharge your cell!”

Forgot it was authentic and our jalapeño margaritas were a bit spicy but oh so good! The spicy salsa was yummy and luckily not super spicy. “If you can get past the higher prices the food is really good (for the most part) the double decker is well worth the money IMO but the “our burger” when ordered well done is medium rare at best. Thinner patties are the way to go there it seems. Thin onion rings were awesome and wife really loved the fries. Shakes are meh... could get a cheaper one somewhere else for the same taste. Overall good food. Expensive, but good. Lol. Waitress was pleasant, the counter person not so much... also many comments comparing this place to Culvers, totally inaccurate imo Culver’s tastes like cardboard. Five Guys would be more accurate as it’s a much higher quality burger, again, imo”

“I was shocked to see a poke eatery in central Illinois. It’s a bold choice for the Midwest. I was pleasantly surprised by how good the poke bowls were. Having lived in Hawaii and being a big fan of poke, the food at Dang Banj Mi & Poke was delicious. The ingredients were fresh. The flavor was spot on. I was also happy to see a bubble tea place in central Illinois. I’m a big fan and will be coming back frequently.”
