Texas roadhouse in general is a family favorite! However this one is a personal favorite! All of their staff is always kind and on top of it! Always feel welcome and well taken care of! Including pictures of their menu because I always love being able to look at that.
Food is always good. Servers have always been great as well. In 20+ visits we had one prime rib that was "meh", but it was after 9pm on a new year's day. Now if we're going for prime rib we get there before 7pm, and it's always spot on!
Obviously, this is a popular place, because it was packed! Our waitress was awesome, kept her sense of humour and professionalism through some mistakes made on our order, and her checkups on how things were going were laced with hilarious comments about the busyness. The food was amazing! The loaded baked potato did not disappoint. This is a great family restaurant. My husband enjoyed hus steak and my daughter loved her fried fish meal.
Service was great. Our waitress Mercedes was very helpful and kept up well with the drinks and rolls. Some of the rolls we received were great while others were burnt and had a hard dark brown outer shell.
We ordered Chicken Fried Sirloin for one meal and Chicken critters for the second meal (2 of us). I got mashed potatoes and corn for my sides and my wife got fries and corn for her sides. Both entree's seem to be burnt and have a very odd flavor to the batter, almost like some spice was added that should not have been there or maybe old grease was used for the frying. My mashed potatoes were good but my wife said the fries had a strange taste (again like old oil was being used). The corn was very hard and chewy like it had sat too long. Overall the food was not good but the service was great. I don't think we will go back.
Update: Management called and offered us another meal. Was better the second time. Maybe they changed the grease finally?
We ate there on 4/20/19 because we had a gift card. If we hadn’t had the gift card I am not sure we would have ever went (only because we aren’t big chain people). BUT we will definitely be back. Everyone is very friendly from the time you walk in the door, to the time you are walking out. Food was good. Servers are fast, attentive, friendly. Servers make or break a place, so they should be rewarded. No one seemed frazzled even though they were packed. Our kids loved the peanuts and the atmosphere (we did too). The manager/owner should be complimented; that is how you run a successful business.
