I'll start off with a compliment, they did a nice job remodeling the old Jack in the Box, but I did have an issue that earned them a 4 star. I order a single cheeseburger, onion rings and medium drink for $14.66. I'm ok with price if my onion rings were edible. They tasted like they were fried in old oil. I was home before I tried one so not worth taking them back. This incident will not keep me from going back because I do like their Gyros.
Man I struggled to give these guys the fifth star, because it is a smidge overpriced even considering the current climate and everything that they are doing right which is a lot and is not easy. The good: 1. they invested in the location. It is bright, clean, nice signage, good parking, attractive. A very nice addition especially because there are limited choices in this area. People should support this place and keep it going 2. Everyone I encountered during my visit through the drive through (3 employees) were very, very friendly, competent and presented themselves well. I don't have to tell most how unusual this is in a fast food atmosphere. 3. I was greeted right away at the drive through. They got my order right and repeated it back (I did not have to repeat my order 3 times to someone who wasn't listening) and the drive through was 4 cars deep and moved along quickly and with a smile. 4. The food quality is off the charts. I had the Vienna Beef Hot Dogs and an order of fries and all of the food was hot, fresh, and what I would describe as premium quality for a fast food place. Very, very good food.
My only gripe is the price. Even with all of this good. Even with what I can see is a significant investment, overhead, great employees and food, I paid $17 for 2 hot dogs, a small fry and a drink. I am a business person. It is smart for them to charge higher prices as a freshly opened place that people are eager to try. A few bucks over the average for great food and a great experience is worth it. The same type of meal at a competitor is in the ballpark of $11 or $12. All of this being the case I will probably go back. The menu has a lot of interesting choices!
We have been there a few times now, each time trying something different. We have gone through the drive through. Each time it was a little bit of a wait for our food but it’s been hot and fresh each time. I have absolutely no problem waiting when it’s hot, fresh and how it was ordered. The guy at the window is very nice. Probably my favorite fast food in the area.
I was so hungry I did not take a pic of my loaded baked potato before I dug into it. It was ginormous with all the buttery, cheesy, sour creamy goodness you could want. It was piping hot and delicious.
Update: Have tried the potato skins with cheddar cheese, single gyro (lots of tender meat and soft pita), and Philly cheesesteak sandwich. Fantastic!
We tried this place tonight and was a little worried by the reviews. So glad we didn’t listen. Hands down one of the best places we have been too. We got a Philly cheese steak sandwich, loaded baked potato, stuffed jalapeños and a triple gyro plate. Everything was hot and fresh, the service was amazing. We will be going back. Thank you for an outstanding meal!!!
