Twistee Treat

A little touch of nostalgia (Almost though it was :Laverne & Shirley" at the counter... (these two gals are quite the fun pair.
Seriously - like something on the old Route-66 fame.
My adult son ordered two tenderloins, and a shake; I had iced tea. - It was a hot day, we had been riding my open air Jeep wrangler..
Place was cool, prompt service. Walls covered with photos and drawings of stars past; A memorabilia filled counter where you stand to order.
Want a light hearted break in your day - this place offers that.

The exterior could use new paint, and cleaning. Umbrellas for the tables would be a nice touch. (that's why we ate inside, though I would have loved to be able to sit outside). Despite the appearance, I am not sure if you can even go to a window and order from the outside.

Nice diner vibe. A good variety of cold and hot food, drinks and treats. You can order inside or outside and dine outside or inside. The atmosphere reminded you of childhood cartoons with the display case and each section of the diner had a music theme from the 40s to current day. I love going to this place for a bite to eat.

Cute shop. Casual ice cream parlor. Great food and ice cream choices. They were so sweet to work with us when we told them we had two kids that couldn't have gluten. They mixed those up before they mixed up the one with the cookies. If you have a child that has celiac disease you'll know how much that means to someone.
