Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

The wait was longer than was told initially but it was Mothers Day. The food was excellent and waitress was nice and attentive to our needs and requests. Thanks and keep up the great work. Franz

I was extremely disappointed tonight. I have gone to my local location multiple times each year for over 20 years. First we were called to the podium after waiting to be seated, then were completely ignored by the 3 employees standing there. I had to speak up because they just kept looking away. Then I was told that they just called us to let us know they were almost ready for us. Doesn’t really make sense to me.

Then the waitress was extremely unfriendly. I was never offered a refill on my drink. I had fries and no offer for ketchup was made. Parts of the meal were forgotten where we had to speak up and not everyone got their food at the same time. Just the worst service I have ever experienced there. Usually so much better so I couldn’t give 1 star. But they need to do some serious work on their customer service skills for the future.

For starters, the food tasted awesome! I had just came back in town from a Lafayette, Indiana Cracker Barrel and it was an amazing first experience at this particular restaurant chain... So I figured all locations would be the same. However, as much as I tend to resist complaining, this experience will be my last to this location. I understand that there are alot of patrons who frequent this restaurant however I thought it was customary to offer refills or check back often on your guests to ensure satisfaction. Both areas were lacking on this visit to a point where I felt a need to go outside to my car to drink the water I brought with me due to no refills received. My family and I sat and ate a full meal with desserts with one drink and I only drink water, so this created an issue for me. So please take this review as a tool for improvement.

Food very good service was slow. Waitress was new and had to explain everything as she did her work. Shes learning the hard way. Bless her for trying though.

A very nice experience today. We frequently go here on Sunday afternoons and it usually is a very nice experience. The food is almost always tasty and the service friendly. We've actually only been disappointed a few times. Service today was with Dawn and she was not only friendly she was on top of things checking in with us without being hovering. Good job!
