Steak 'n Shake

This is a very nice place and very clean. This was the noon rush and still the food came pretty quickly. The waitress anticipated that we would need extra napkins. She came back a couple times and offered other things like drink refills.
Since it was the noon Rush it was pretty noisy and I couldn't hear anybody else.

My son loves the Frisco Melt, unfortunately when you carry out the burger and fries they looses the great Steak and Shake flavor and texture. It's a great Burger joint when you dine in.

As usual, your experience at any given Steak 'n Shake is highly dependent on staff, time of day, who's in charge, and how business has been. The good news is: the shakes are always good; try the seasonal Eggnog Shake. The hot dogs are almost always good. The burgers are at best worth what you pay, and you either like their fries or you don't.

Steak 'n Shake: come get a great shake, but the food while you're there because it's cheap.

Breakfast is a different story: always great, cheap breakfasts at Steak 'n Shake.
