Oberweis Ice Cream and Dairy Store

It is pretty neat to see the cases of all the Oberweis products. It seems like there's always something interesting to try. Now the ice cream itself is just okay. It is like buying the same ice cream at the store. Comes out hard and the taste of the flavors is a bit flat. This is not the ice cream parlor experience that they've decorated themselves after. Okay, but not that homemade taste you might expect. I like how they have a hamburger place attached so you can get a pretty good burger with a hot fudge sundae.

Juliana was nice enough to help bring my crate of egg nog and chocolate milk to my car.

I live in Florida and whenever I visit my family in Chicago I go to Oberweiss as soon as I can. I get an ultimate hot chocolate or coffee made with ice cream. I try to do it at home but the missing ingredient is always the Oberweiss! 10 of 10 cows agree its the best ice cream hooves down!

Great shakes! We almost always stop here when we're in the area. This location also has two attached restaurants one offering great burgers, the other offering wood fire pizza.

I ate a custom make your own pizza and loved it. The customer service is great, the store (cleaning wise) is great, and importantly, the pizza is so delicious. I rate this 5/5 stars. I hope to come again soon.
