Sorriso Ristorante & Bar

A few weeks ago some of our friends introduced us to this restaurant and we had a very nice evening so we decided to spend Valentine's there for dinner. The staff is very friendly and awesome. The meal was to die for delicious my wife had the surf and turf and I had the pork chop Serrano. Sorry not sure if I have the correct pronunciation on that. Needless to say it's our new favorite place also pretty close to us as we are in the Manhattan area.

We have been a few times now and love it! The baked artichoke hearts are amazing for an appetizer. I’ve had a pasta dish and the filet both were flavorful and cooked to perfection. I’ve never had room for dessert but I’m sure that is high quality as well. I’ll be heading back for sure!

Awesome place. Excellent service. Great food. Many specials every night. The Waleye was to die for. The bone-in rib-eye was prepared well, maybe slightly more done than my dining partner's expected, medium rare steak, which is how she ordered it? But nevertheless extremely tasty. The dessert was the best I've ever had. All in all, there's not enough 'stars' available to award this fine Italian restaurant.

I ordered the lasagna and unfortunately it was okay. The noodles were overcooked and similar in texture to the cheese. My husband's pasta was the same and his steak was swimming in sauce. Maybe it was due to the late evening, but I've had better lasagna at a chain restaurant.

Absolutely loved the whole experience! I really enjoyed the unique Bolognese. The wife had the Alfredo, also excellent and truly authentic. Service was also 5 stars. Will definitely be making the trip back. My complements to the chef!
