Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

This has to be the best Cracker Barrel I've ever been to. In terms of service from the greeter to the wait staff these people were the friendliest ever. And their happy atmosphere actually put me in a good mood, they seemed to genuinely care that my companion and I have a good experience. The food was very good but not the same portion size as before. Ah well it's better for my waistline I guess. Their pancakes and sausage are great, their ham tiny in size and pretty dry but still tasty, the bacon was a small portion but perfect crispness (very fresh tasting) bacony goodness The cheesey potatoes (don't remember what they're called) have been better in the past. I had scrambled eggs w American cheese, dang they were fluffy and delicious. The fried apples were my dessert and did not let me down, it was like apple pie in a bowl. Before I left a server walked up to me and complimented me on my hair (color), she noticed a small detail about me that made the whole experience wonderful because it added a personal touch that you don't get very often.

I will definitely keep coming back, all restaurants should strive to have this level of service. Especially when it's a place as busy as cracker barrel on a weekend.

Good food but don't go in on a Sunday when somethings going on at the Convention Center. It was crowded! I was a single eater. I rode an Uber there. They said my wait would be 15-30 minutes. I waited for over an hour! Then another half hour once I ordered. They were out of there new Berry Tea and I heard someone near me say the chicken too. Once served the food was good.

I love this location. So pleasant and nice. Food really good. Management has done great in selection of staff. Will be back.

The staff are kind and they always get things right. Their gift shop is actually really nice! I have gotten people gifts from here many times. It’s clean, organized, and affordable. Also, a great place for bigger families.
