Red Lobster

Pro: The space was clean and the food was delicious!!! I was very happy with our waiter, he was courteous, polite and attentive.
Con: Did not ask where I would like to sit but immediately start walking us to the back!!! Which is always the case when we visit!!! Sorry, but no thank you.... I like window seating too!!!

Red Lobster used to be the K-Mart of seafood but, over the years, their prices went up. Each location is only as good as the person cooking the food and the Joliet location has actually improved over the last decade.
That said, there are plenty of better seafood restaurants around which are now comparable in price and better in quality. Explore and enjoy.

I really don't know how they stay open. I'm pretty sure I could have made the same dish at home, but with more flavor. The portions are so much smaller from the pictures. Our bill came to a $160 for 4 people, so not worth it. I won't even get started on our waitress...we were the ones waiting on her... for everything. Honestly I think a 3 star rating is being generous. Never again....
P.S. The bathrooms were pretty gross.

The server was great and so was the food... When we got it. The kitchen/wait staff need to learn to manage the customer base better (especially when the restaurant was no where near full.) If a party comes in and you are at half capacity, you should be able to serve your customers in a reasonable time frame. 1.25 hour wait for the main course is not acceptable.
