I work in the city of Chicago and I have had my fair share of beef sandwiches. The size of the sandwich and the portion of fries was more than enough for me. “It is better than most in area. Quite a wait times, last time almost 20min. Have variety of sushi options in the all you can eat menu. Most of the sashimi(I think they call the raw slices on rice) has too much rice, it felt deliberate. I am a firm believer that owners and staff should smile, it makes people welcome and it's the easiest of charity and business boosters. Kids are welcome here. I enjoyed the ginger sauce salad.”

“Everything we had here was pretty good. I got their burrito which was delicious and didn't skimp on the ingredients one bit. It can get pricey if you order a lot of drinks but not anymore than any other Mexican restaurant. The atmosphere was nice although it was very dark, much more than what you'd except even for a more relaxed environment. The food came out fast and looked appetizing in the dark, but not as pleasant when you saw it in the light. Still really good food overall.”

“We had my mom's funeral lunch here and they were beyond amazing! The food package was wonderful, with a variety of choices for everyone. We asked for some gluten free items and they made one of the entree dishes gluten free and made several of the other entree gluten free for our guests. We have someone who has a very specific dietary restriction and they offered us an option on the spot to accommodate her. The food was fantastic, delicious tortellini dish, a pork dish, chicken, broccoli with blue cheese sauce, potatoes....all perfect! Their drinks (especially the bloody mary's!) were phenomenal. And the service was beyond fantastic. This far exceeded our expectations and was a wonderful send off for my mom. We have been to Barolo multiple times before this, but we will be patrons for life after our experience with mom's funeral lunch!”

We tried the beef pad Thai, crab fried rice, papaya salad and shrimp bacon roll. The beef paid Thai along with the peanut sauce is amongst the best pad Thai i have ever tried! Crab fried rice was pretty good but nothing to rave about. The papaya salad was underwhelming so won't be ordering that again. The shrimp rolls were tasty but not worth the cost. Overall nice restaurant and will be back again.”
