The Baking Grounds North

Visited today and they were packed to the gills. While there wasn't many people in the drive through as others mentioned today, the parking lot was packed and inside of the restaurant was standing room only. Tried a pastry and 5 different beverages and all we're delicious. Everyone was happy with their choice. Attentive service even under the packed circumstances and so accommodating. We will be back. Only 4 stars because the system for ordering wasn't super clear, there wasn't like a defined place where the line starts and a clear flow as far as left to right or whatever. Get that sorted out and it's a 5 star experience

Amazing pastries! Pinwheel, cookies, sticky bun/maple bun, and cheese
danish have all been awesome!! The latte tasted great! Price a tad steep. Sandwiches and soup could use a little work but I'm sure they're still working out kinks. Baked goods are def. their specialty. Best bakery in town!

Came for lunch, had the Machesney burger, good flavor and served in good time, especially for opening day. Also, it comes with a cookie ????. Wide selection of cakes pastries, the couple samples I tried were excellent! Looking forward to coming back for breakfast. Hopeful this place will break the cycle of restaurants at this location, it certainly deserves to on first impression.

Stopped in on opening day 4/3/19. Wonderful atmosphere! The staff seemed well prepared and the breakfast was wonderful! Coffee was delicious! My waitress, Isabella, seemed excited about the opening and was pleasant throughout. This place is a hybrid of a bakery and diner that complements one another quite well. All of the bakery items are beautifully crafted; it’s well evident that there is plenty of care and passion placed into their products. I would recommend this place to anyone whether you’d like a quick bite to eat, or if you’re looking for that perfect assortment of desserts for your next party.
