Salt.

We have now eaten at SALT a hand full of times and every time has been continually delicious. We also like that the workers who have served us, remember us. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Excited for the summer menu!

I’ve heard great things about here so i decided to give it a try… however i may have had my expectations higher, this place did not meet them. The ambiance is nice and our server was very knowledgeable; however i don’t think the food is all that it’s cracked to be. The oysters were pretty good, different than what i expected but good. I had the salmon for dinner and i felt like there really was no flavor, they add broth to your plate so that helped, but at the same time i thought it was going to be really good. My date had steak and he said it was good but he’s had better, they did make it to medium rare which is pretty good but after our date we were not full. Personally i probably wouldn’t come back i would just go to another restaurant. The drinks were great, maybe i would come here again for the bar, but honestly the food wasnt all that. Unfortunately i didn’t take a photo of our entres.

We ate in the bar, my wife said her cocktail was fantastic. My burger was in my top 3 ever, and she said her pasta was the best she has ever had! They have a very extensive, eclectic whisky selection. Carissa was very attentive without seeming like she was hovering

Salt is a new fine-dining restaurant and bar with a modern twist. Their uniquely crafted dining experience and the finest wines and cocktails made my dining experience an unforgettable one!

We ordered the Oyster which was so fresh and delicious. The Little Gem Salad that had a lovely texture from the quinoa crunch. The Hamachi Tiradito which tasted like it was just caught fresh from the sea. The Lobster Tortellini that had a rich lobster buttery flavor. Bone Marrow that just melts in your mouth. The Lamb which was cooked to a perfect medium rare. The Chocolate Pots De Crème which you must save room for. And the Basque Goat Cheesecake which was the perfect ending to this fabulous meal!

The cocktails were great too! My favorites were the Diablito and the Rend & Sow! I love the smokiness from the mezcal and the smoke show.

Not only was the food and cocktails amazing, the service was as well! The staff was very friendly and very knowledgeable about the menus. We couldn’t have asked for a better night!

I would highly recommend Salt. to all my friends family! It’s the perfect place for date night, anniversary, birthday or any special occasion!

My husband and I enjoyed a wonderful date night at SALT. It was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had at a restaurant. The food and drinks were delightful and beautiful! I ordered the Duck Terrine as an appetizer and WOW. Let’s just say, I tasted flavors I never even knew existed…it was so tasty! I ordered the Lobster Tortellini for my main course and it was delicious. The butternut squash sauce was my favorite, perfect for the Fall season. The service was outstanding. Our waitress was personable, polite and helpful. The atmosphere was relaxing. Thank you at everyone for SALT for providing a neat dining experience to Rockford 👏🏼🙌🏼
