Wetzel's Pretzels

Franchise plus company feedback:

The service was not the stereotypical overly friendly and bubbly service, but I was asked if I wanted anything else. (Some people just rush through and assume I’m done ordering when I pause for them to catch up either gathering the items or typing on the register.)

For the company: The churro bites are absolutely not churro bites. FALSE ADVERTISING. It’s just pretzel bites (pictured) with a dusting of sugar and cinnamon, then decorated with “dulce de leche” syrup and chocolate syrup. 😑

There was awkward silence as I waited for the cashier to tell me the total (as is customary anywhere, I think). The machine was abnormally slow, so I’m surprised the cashier hadn’t made a comment about it.

I’m not sure what happened with the napkins- we could have used some and a bag, but no bag was offered. Not sure if I overlooked a self- serve napkin thing.

Overall, the food was eh. I wouldn’t really go back to a Wetzel Pretzel franchise again in general.

Thanks to the staff for going above and beyond with service. Checked ingredients to avoid allergies, found a new favorite drink!!!!!
