EL TACO VAQUERO

I never see much of a line when in the area for work twice a month(could be time of day) so I decided to give this place a try to see how it was. I tried 4 different tacos to get an idea of how each was. Chicken, steak, el pastor, and the mixed meat. They were fantastic and cooked to order. The amount of meat you get is quite a bit, and everything was flavorful. The chicken was very moist and tasty, probably the best I've ever had. I'd eat those every day if I lived closer. The second best in my opinion was the el pastor, very good with the pineapple flavor in it. All of the meat in each taco was tender and you could tell they care about quality and quantity in each taco. I added cheese and lettuce to all the tacos and the amount I got was a good and generous amount. The corn tortillas were not soggy and everything held up in the taco. They wrapped my tacos in aluminum foil to keep them hot, included limes, some sauce in small cups, and napkins. For the price and what you get, it's 100% worth it to me. My wait wasn't very long and I pumped my gas while it was being made, which worked out perfectly. It's unfortunate I never seen much of a line here, because this place is too good not to eat at. I will definitely be a returning customer the next time I am in the area for work.

I just cant drive by this truck without stopping. It's full of delicious tacos and the Tortas Pastor is amazing. Theres good people inside of it too. My favorite truck. 😄

Yes! There really is a food truck serving delicious authentic Mexican food like tacos, burritos, tortas, and nachos. Give it a try, it's beside the Marathon gas station on Illinois Rd

The meats are tasty! Our family likes the simple choice between onion/cilantro vs usa-style. Important to meet the owners/cooks too, loved that. Best of luck & skills to them 💪🏽

Great steak tacos (traditional Mexican street style with corn tortillas, steak, onions, and cilantro with limes on the side) and delicious homemade “salsa” on the side (it’s more like a hot sauce in flavor and consistency) that’s delicious! Going to try the burritos and nachos next!
