The staff was all over the place. My order was not correct and others were brought to our table a couple of times that were looking for another party. The ambiance was very appealing however
I'm part of a business marketing group that meets in the 1st source building each week. The Bistro provides the food, and I look forward to this lunch every week. They have a great variety and it is all really good. I've had many of their meals, and I haven't eaten anything I don't enjoy. The staff is really good as well.
I consider main street bistro to be a "casual fine dining experience." Very clean and modern interior. Prices are fair for the quality and amount of food! Wide variety of plates. Good for a first date in case you don't know what she likes to eat. Will definitely go back this summer and dine on the patio.
Some might complain that the portions are small. That's actually kinda expected with this kind of dining. But after wonderful apps, fresh crispy bread, mushroom soup, bacon wrapped scallops and risotto, I was totally satisfied. The Carmel macchiato martini was fun too.
Great affordable food with at very convenient location right in the middle of downtown. It has the big city feel inside and outside. From what I hear they had some issues when they first started but with a new chef things seems to be totally under control.
The coolest thing that I found was the convenient valet parking. Considering downtown Fort Wayne has very limited parking space its nice to park almost right next to the restaurant and they take care of it.
I did not try the desserts or drinks because I was very full from large meals.
