“It is great to have a McDonald's in downtown Jeffersonville again after all these years of not having one since the location on Court Avenue was demolished. I was impressed with the fast drive true experience. Their customer service was the best I have had in quite sometime. I was also impressed that they had a working milkshake machine, which is rarely the case at other locations. They definitely seem to have their act together for only being open less than a week. We will definitely be back. The medium shamrock shakes that we got were delicious. I know they probably won't but I wish they would make those a regular menu item.”

I then ordered coffees and two pieces of lemon loaf and had my hands full while leaving and he asked if I'd be okay walking out (it was pouring down rain). Who does that nowadays? Not many people!! “I have been to Parnelli's a couple of times since they opened their doors. The quality of food and the level of service has been consistent each time I visited. The Italian Beef, garlic fries, and baklava stand out as items I would recommend. The tastes are fantastic and the prices are reasonable for a quick bite on the run. I would suggest asking that the fries be a little crispier though. The absence of a soda fountain was a surprise, but one that I understand. Fountains are a hassle to keep clean and maintain. Given their staffing shortages, it is best to avoid adding this task for the time being. Speaking of staffing, right now (02/2020) the location is closed on Sundays due to being short-staffed. It is a better option than over-stretching the staff, but it does limit the ability to reach the entire weekend crowd. Overall I I recommend a visit for a quick and casual bite. The people are friendly and the food is delicious. Jeffersonville needs more places to eat that are not chain restaurants and hopefully, this one will stick around.”
