Red Lobster

First time there! Great first impression too. Went with family and had a blast!

Visited on Easter Sunday about 8 pm while traveling from out of state. Place was almost empty. The server Janisa did a fine job for our table of 7. Kept drinks and biscuits full. Main entrees were underwhelming. Steaks were ok. The Fish and chips arrived after the others entrees which seemed odd since we have a couple well done steaks. The bisque wasn’t good, appeared to have clumps of flour in it. Lobster was undercooked. Food was below par. Server did a great job!

What you would expect from a seafood place. Good seafood. But nothing else. My partners steak had no seasoning, although cooked correctly.

I love seafood anyway, so red lobster is always a win. Their current (cedar plank) specials are nothing special, but the food is good. Food and drinks didn't take too long, and small kitchen mistakes were easily fixed. We had 2 waiters for a big party (one was newer), and the older waiter was making comments when the other was away about how the other wasn't doing a good job. It wasn't really a bother, but employees should keep their issues with each other away from customers.

Ordered online and carried out to share a more private lunch with my mother in a assisted living facility. Food was excellent and abundant and everything was packaged neatly with everything ready and promptly brought out when I arrived.
