El Rico Taco

ok, so this place is in the back of a book store, so if you see signs for books, that's tour place!! the lady that was cooking was so nice and simply gave me the feeling of home. I got the chicken and the steak taco which were both absolutley amazing!!! I also ordered a side of refried beans, however and unfortunately, they were microwaved and I thought that took away from the quality of the food. the tacos were cooked fresh and the ingredients that were in the tacos were fresh and home made. I highly recommend this place if your are looking for a traditional taco at a good price point!

Awesome food, LOVELY owner. He generous energy is infectious. We'll be coming back with friends soon!

Multiple visit review
Day 1: It is really hard to find a well made Tamale. Their's are great. Subtle hint of spice. Refried bean are seasoned very well. Rice is delicious.

Day 2: Chili rellenos was amazing. Was tempted to chew the flavor out of the stem.
Ordered a torta without avocado or chipotle sauce for the kids, the little ones loved it. Managed to try it myself. The flavors and texture of the bread was fantastic. I will be going back to try the full flavored torta. I can only imagine the creaminess of the avocado and the smoky spicy flavor of the chipotle sauce will elevate the torta to an epic level.

Day 3: Hasn't happened yet, but you better believe I will be trying a burrito tomorrow. Imagine I will not be disappointed.

Very tasty, affordable yet simple food. This is just the beginning for this fine establishment. I had the tamale and was able to sample the poblanos. Both were uniquely spiced, flavorful and worth every penny. Cant wait to go back.

Attended the soft opening with some co-workers and the hospitality was amazing. Family ran and friendly faces.

Tried all three taco types of Beef, Pork, and Chicken, and although they were all amazing, the Pork was our groups favorite. Will visit again for sure! Avacado Salsa was also a hit.
