    Every time I've been there the food has been awesome. I tried the onion soup which I stepped out of the box and be sure to get it. I've tried the chicken the beef and shrimp meals and everything was great

    Yamato doesn't compare to "real" habachi restaurants, but it is a good substitute if you don't feel like driving up town and spending $100. The food is usually pretty tasty and not terribly expensive, but the service has the tendency to be poor. A girl once got my order wrong on a take-out delivery and then argued with me about it.

    Nice meal and not too expensive. There isn't a lot of variety in choices but what is served is good. The meats are all teriyaki based.
