Vat & Barrel

We wanted something very different and good. We found it at the Vat & Barrel. The food is unbelievable and quite reasonable in price. It's such a laid back and relaxing atmosphere too. This is the place to beat the food blues. We can't wait for their sushi special weekend!!

Awesome place to hangout with friends and enjoy one of a kind drinks, savory food, live music on the weekend and a lively, warm atmosphere! The staff and owners are incredibly nice and hospitable! Love the fireplace and bar setting as well - a must visit local gem for sure!

This place is awesome! Great night time atmosphere with a great beer and wine selection. Food is handcrafted to perfection and has a great variety of different flavors and styles. I would highly recommend this place because they only use Indiana based distilleries, breweries, wineries, and food. Seriously, I’ve been to places all over Indiana and this is a great place to have either a nice dinner, or come for a fun night! On Friday and Saturday they have live music and it’s actually great performers who play classic, fun, lively songs that make the entire restaurant feel relaxed yet energetic.

My wife and I have been wanting to go here for a while. We live just down the street and have seen the owner working on this for the past year. Upon entering we found a welcoming environment, and found the atmosphere very pleasant. The menu is small but very delightful. They have a wonderful selection of Indiana wines, Indiana craft beers, and Indiana liquors. The owner was there and was very nice, and pleasant to talk to. He shared his story of how he and his co-owner started the business, and how he had a vision for what he wanted to open something unique in Seymour.

Excellent menu and outdoor seating, this is a nice addition to enjoy in Seymour. Service was friendly and efficient, owners were on hand to meet, assist servers and bring a personable element to the Vat & Barrel experience - charcuterie on Indiana board, flat bread appetizer, Cobb salad were all AMAZING! Like that Indiana products are represented here.
