Franklin's oldest restaurant! It's open Monday through Saturday, 6am-2pm. Great friendly service. The lunch rush was on today, completely packed, and most likely it is everyday because the food is THAT GOOD! Plenty of parking, handicap accessible. It's really a Nice and clean place. I had order to go with coffee and I was surprised it was a huge cup... actually all the portions are impressive.
I hope this place is here when I have grandchildren so I can show them the worlds greatest eggs. Also they have a monster burger that deserves a show on food network. The kitchen staff came out just to witness my approach of attack! Legendary place.
The oldest restaurant in Franklin, and for good reason.
You'll not get a gourmet experience here, but you WILL get a hearty, satisfying meal for a reasonable price. The breaded tenderloin is good, and the salads are huge!
Although the food is probably more 3 star range, the service pushes the overall experience to a 4 star review.
Came in on a Saturday afternoon to have breakfast, it was packed but we were acknowledged as soon as we walked in. As soon as a table was available it was cleaned and we were promptly seated. The staff is extremely friendly and it has that old cozy diner feel. The food was excellent, the price was right, the cause is noble and the staff is the best!
I had lunch here. I was immediately greeted and someone took my drink order. I ordered the Colossal Chicken Club. It was really amazing and a large portion. Try the potato chips. They're made in-house and very thin with the perfect amount of salt. Very good food for a good price. My only complaint is the fact the floor could have used a sweeping. And there were 5 employees standing around chit-chatting. I will be back.
